Journal of a Touring Musician: Atlantic Canada Tour Week 2

This past week started off with a bang - Hurricane Lee passed through Halifax but thankfully, we fared with minimal damage, staying inside the hotel.

We continued to meet warm and appreciative audiences in schools and concert series throughout this past week and I personally feel really grateful to do what I do. Some of the events and performances we did are:

Pop-up Concert at the Canada Games Centre!

A few more community engagement concerts at schools

Just a lovely lovely concert experience at Wolfville, NS in the beautiful garden room at the KC Irving Centre at the Acadia University.

And a lovely stay in the town at the Old Orchard Inn - highly recommend the local restaurant Naked Crepe!

Working with the conscientious kids at the Scotia Suzuki School was great fun. We gave a masterclass to four kids and then gave a little performance at the end.

It's hard to believe in a few more days and after three more concerts (including one tonight as I am writing this), the first leg of our Pan-Canadian Tour will soon come to an end. Still, I've really been enjoying the time on the road, and it's been a great reminder of why I do the work that I do and why I want to continue to strive and become a better musician, and artist.
